Today I received an acceptance letter from the NH Art Association. The application process was pretty intimidating, and so I kept putting it off. I’m so pleased, kind of in shock, and so very hopeful for my involvement in this vibrant artist community.

This portion of the letter especially touched me:

”The jurors noted a strong sense of surprise and a satisfying visual rhythm throughout your work, making each piece engaging and compelling to view. They especially appreciated how seamlessly your style carries across multiple media while remaining distinctly recognizable as your own. Your intuitive approach to making is clearly evident and comes through strongly to the viewer. Overall, the jurors were very impressed and truly enjoyed the work.”
